"BITZE"

Bitze was a wedding anniversary gift from our four grown children. They could not have chosen a more
fulfilling gift for us! Dorothy Goodale, who discovered the Bolognese breed, introduced them to the U.S., and
founded the Bolognese Club of America, allowed us the opportunity to make our own choice of all her puppies at the time, and
Bitze was our pick! A vivacious, wee girl, Bitze lives up to all that is good about the breed and has endeared herself
to our hearts.
Shown in UKC, IABCA, and ARBA conformation shows, Bitze earned her Championship title right away.
Later we showed her in obedience trials. She was charming, but unsuccessful at her first trial - so friendly
and outgoing that she couldn't resist running up to make friends with the judge. The judge commented that if points
could be awarded for cuteness she would have won High in Trial!
Happily, at an obedience trial shortly thereafter, to prove that she could be not only cute but very smart and talented,
Bitze qualified with High Score in Trial! From there, of course, she went on to earn her obedience title. She earned her
AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate and is the very first Bolobnese ever to earn the American Temperament Test Society Certificate of
Temperament. We are very proud of her!
